Attorney Al Mahdi Ikli immigrated to the United States from Morocco in 1990. He is a naturalized US Citizen, fluent in Arabic, English, and French. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. After a successful career in finance with some of the world’s leading financial institutions, he went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Northern Illinois University College of Law.
While attending NIU, Mr. Ikli was elected President of the International Law Society. He was also on the Dean’s Honor List and admitted as a member of Delta Theta Phi International Law Fraternity. Mr. Ikli was admitted to the Illinois Bar and began practicing law in Chicago, IL. Subsequently, he was admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
After relocating with his family to Tampa, FL in 2012, Mr. Ikli founded the Ikli Law Firm. Because of his diverse background and personal experiences, Mr. Ikli focuses his legal practice on US Federal and International legal matters including: US Immigration and Nationality Law, International Mediation and Arbitration, International Trade, and International Business.
Mr. Ikli also makes himself available on a contract basis to multinational corporations and international law firms to assist with cross border investigations as well as international litigation requiring the mastery of Arabic as well as knowledge of Middle Eastern /North African customs, business practices, and legal systems.
